Psychographic Profile

Psycho graphic profile of mainly mainstreams who follow the major trends and brands because the film is a typical teenage romance, for a mixed teenage audience in school. It is aimed at 14-22 year olds from mixed backgrounds and this helps to aim the film at a wider audience across all social and racial backgroƄunds. As well as this my film contains characters from the Caribbean and Asian background. It is not just aimed at one particular social or racial group. The social group that it is aimed at mainly is casual teenagers, who might relate to my films storyline. The reason behind this is because my film is about day to day dramas that occures in reality.

The Script

We originally did have a script. However, we then changed the storyline but we didnt write a new script for it. The new storyline was about a girl and she narrates her own story. The script first starts at a scene where she has an argument with another girl and then she gets pushed so she passes out. When she passes out there is a flash back into the next scene where it shows how she first started to go out with this other guy and she is telling her friends that there is someone in her love life but she doesn't mention his name. The scene ends with her getting a phone call and then she goes to meet him.
On the other hand, we do have a original copy of the script for The Love Game.

Filming session 5

Last Thursday I walked out of my group. Today i joined them again with a new storyline and a new start to the project. I explained to the group members who were present what my film proposal was and they thought it was a good idea. We managed to start filming straight away beacause I had already planned in advance and organasied for actors and extra help. The filming went smoothly and we managed to film alot, and what I had planned on shooting. We managed to get some really good shots, from different angels and we managed to finish shooting the first scene.

Filming session 4

In our fourth filming session we filmed everything we did from the previous filming session.

Filming session 3

In our third filming session things were better than the previous two. All our actors turned up, even though late (but better than never) and we managed to get alot of filming done. There was one group member who wasn't in a generally good mood and ended up walking off. We also had an extra member to the group who helped film in the rain. We managed to get a few good shots during our filming and we managed to film what we thought we would in that session. However, there was a small dispute about one of our scenes where one of the characters had to get slapped and our actor refused to get slapped. So we lost time arguing over that and sorting out something to replace the slap but so that it had the same effect on our audience as a slap. Overall, the third filming session was successful and we got alot of work done.

Filming session 2

Our second filming session was almost just as bad as the first filming session even though my group members all turned up. We went off site to film and the actors started to mess about and my main actor walked off to go home and change so that he looked approriate for the roll. However, due to the fact that we didnt have enough time and everyone was getting impatient, we had to replace him with another actor. However at the end we did manage to shoot one of our scenes even though it took us a whole 2 hours to film a 30 second walk. It was not completely perfect but we did get some work done.

Preliminary task

Filming session 1

The first filming session was a complete disaster due to many reasons. Firstly because I had to organise it and my group members were all absent. We booked the school studio so that we could record in it, and when we finally did start to shoot my actors were not prepared or ready. They were very nervous and two of my actors switched roles last minute. They were not able to follow their scripts either. Following on, the studio was too packed and crowded with people so the whole shooting went wrong. My group then finally turned up to the shooting at the end of the shooting; we had decided to pack up because things were not going according to plan and every attempt failed.

Preparation

During the preperation process most of my group members were away so I had to make sure that i found the right actors that fitted my characters discription. I also had to make sure that my locations were available and they fitted in with my scenes. Carrying on fron this, I had to make sure that i had all the correct props and everything was in place, including the correct lighting, atmosphere, and my script.

Research and Planning

In order to do our planning, my group and I had to look at other films related to our genre so that we had ideas. We decided on the locations that we want to shoot at, the people we wanted to include in our work, and the camera work. We also had to think about how we were gonna do our shooting and out timings so that it fitted the whole group. As well as, during the planning process we had to think about our audience and how our film is going to appeal to our target audience and how us, as the producers, were going to meet their requirements.

My presentation

This was our original powerpoint presentation for The Love Game...

This is our second powerpoint presentation:

In our groups we had to make a presentation showing our proposal of our film. We had to use the questionnaires and make graphs showing the outcome and we found out from our feedback. We included our characters and the theme of our film. One of the characters were changed and his name was Ashani who played Sour skittles. We akso had more extra characters including Kacyan Bartley, Dujon Higgings and Fatiat Bramoh. As well as this we included information on our script, storyline/synopsis and the locations that we wanted to shoot at. I think that my group members could have contributed abit more to the work. I also think that we could have presented our work better and we should have been more organised and prepared for the presentation. I also think that we should have prepared in advance instead of leaving things untill last minute. Overall, due to the circumstances, I think that I did a good job in preparing the presentation.
